We plan on supporting the North American Black Bear through the use of black bear sanctuaries and our yearly habitat restoration movement. We will promote the awareness of the threatened black bears through the use of social media and television. The black bear sanctuaries will be located in areas that contain very low population densities of black bears because of human-environment interactions. The sanctuaries will help the population of the black bear grow back to normal, as well as helping gain awareness of the threatened black bear through the use of tourism. These sanctuaries will run off paid professionals and volunteers. The bears will be under constant care and love. The donations and funds that we gain will be used in order to build these modern sanctuaries. First, only one sanctuary will be able to be built, but once more donations are received more sanctuaries will be able to be built. In addition, kind volunteers for the BBNA will plant trees, spread awareness, and collect information. Additionally the BBNA will also cooperate with existing Black Bear organizations to help restore habitats in the wild. Our Facebook and Twitter pages will keep followers up to date on news about the black bears. Also, our social media will post updates about our sanctuaries and location of our habitat restoration movement. This movement will be located in areas where black bear population are the lowest due to human-interactions. These areas include Louisiana, Florida, and North Carolina. The movement will be held at different parts of North America at the same time. Professional biologists will lead the volunteers to their habitat restoration. The BBNA will provide supplies for the volunteers doing this. We will also have a YouTube account to post our infomercial and videos about the black bear. Through the use of all this social media, we are hoping that we will gain enough volunteers in order to run our sanctuaries and perform our annual restoration movement.
